Welcome to National Forklift Safety Day 2025

Regarded as one of the material handling industry’s most important safety initiatives, National Forklift Safety Day (NFSD) aims to emphasise best practices for MHE use to ensure safe workplaces for everyone.

Supported by the strapline “A painted line isn’t enough”, NFSD 2025 emphasises the importance of investing in robust segregation measures in work environments where MHE is routinely used. It also focuses on the emotional impact of MHE incidents, particularly on the loved ones of accident victims.

To help spread these key messages far and wide, we have released a range of vital resources and downloadable digital assets. In doing so, we strive to accomplish our central mission to make every day National Forklift Safety Day.

“Accidents have a tendency to become mere statistics, but for those involved, the consequences can last a lifetime. By highlighting the human cost of such accidents – not just on the victims but also on equipment operators, co-workers, family and friends, we aim to highlight the human story that is the reality behind every statistic.”
